The four soundworks are based on stories by Franz Kafka,
Patricia Highsmith, Julio Cortázar and Dietmar Dath. In all the
stories the main characters are animals or nonhuman creatures.
The album title "animot" is a word creation by Jacques Derrida
which is a mix of the french "animal" and "mot" but also another
spelling for "animaux".
