Compilation with lost recordings by "Jazz Community", one of the most important European post bop and modal jazz formations from Zurich. Sextet around the exceptional wind group Hans Kennel (tp, flh), Paul Haag (tb) and Heiner Althaus (ts) - all formerly with "Magog" - with their own repertoire and different rhythm groups. The best tracks of their rare LPs "Jazz Community" and "Il Topo" on one album, produced in 1979 in Bruno Spoerri's recording studio and live in 1983 in the club in Rubigen/ Bern. Lovingly sound-restored and remastered in 2018, available on vinyl LP and as 6-page digipack CD/digital with four additional tracks.
