Reissue of the 2012 album "Always" by the Californian experimental pop duo Xiu Xiu, on which they enriched their avant-pop with new influences from choral music, krautrock and animal field recordings. The Independent called "Always" their best work to date and gave it the highest score. The album was produced by Greg Saunier (Deerhoof), who also served as parallel drummer and co-vocalist, and mixed by John Congleton (Antony & The Johnsons, Marilyn Manson, The Roots). The new edition is released as CD and LP on white 180g vinyl including 18x24" folding poster and DL code.
