Reissue of the Nick Cave classic - 180g heavy vinyl! The NME put it in a nutshell: "gothic psycho-sexual apocalypse" was the conclusion for this album. Nick Cave's albums have never been lacking in biblical motifs, but the story of Lazarus, raised from the dead by Jesus, has fascinated Nick since childhood and appears as a motif in the songs. Recorded in only five days, the album has a lot in common with the "Grinderman" project.

The album is wild and impetuous, animated by a dark fire that rarely sprouted in previous works in favour of polished songs and ballads. With this album Mick Harvey says goodbye to the Bad Seeds.

The vinyl editions were long out of print and traded as rarities. In October, the film "20,000 Days on Earth" will be released, in a sense (i.e. with a wink) a documentary about the life and work of Nick Cave.
