Terms of service

The business relationship terms and conditions between the customer and Plattfon STAMPA are applicable at the time when the order is placed. Agreements that deviate from these terms and conditions require written confirmation by Plattfon STAMPA. 

The contract between the customer and Plattfon STAMPA is valid once the customer's order is placed and confirmed. The order is carried out once the Plattfon STAMPA online order form is filled. Plattfon STAMPA then accepts the order by sending a confirmation e-mail to the customer or is implied by the delivery of the ordered goods. With the order the customer accepts the general business conditions (AGB). 

The shipment usually takes place through Swiss Post. However we have to handle the shipment via another service. The shipping costs are calculated according to the table above. 

All applicable prices are exclusive to any specific cost for shipping and delivery. 

If certain items are currently not in stock, in the case of larger deliveries the shipment will take place once all the desired products are available. If individual posters should no longer be available, the overpaid amount may be charged for credit. In exceptional cases the check amount will be refunded. In the case of deliveries, payments by cash or credit card will be confiscated, regardless of what the final calculated reduction amount to.

The guarantee is secured by the terms and conditions of Swiss law. Since the pictures on our online catalog are only approximate representations, we cannot guarantee that certain products correspond exactly to the images shown. This applies for film posters with different language prints or logos as well. 

Should the goods be faulty, the buyer has five working days from the reception of the order to complain in written to Plattfon STAMPA. The deadline is met if the complaint is passed within five days after the post delivery. In case of defects, which limit considerably the use of the product, the purchaser may demand the rescission of his order, which should be stated in the complaint. The buyer must prove that the purchased good is considerably damaged. In other cases, the buyer is only entitled to demand a price reduction. The return of the object must be made by mail. The buyer bears the risk of an erroneous return of the object and is responsible should the product fail to be returned.

Should the buyer fail to collect the delivery he is liable for the purchase and expenses of the item. Plattfon STAMPA reserves the right to sell the item elsewhere or to withdraw from the purchase. The buyer is liable for damages and the resulting expenses. 

Should one or more provisions of these terms be invalid, the contract still remains valid. The ineffective regulation is replaced by the relevant statutory provision. 

Jurisdiction and place of delivery is the city of Basel.
